[Abstract]

It is not uncommon for licensees to be writing a five or six figure check when they are audited by a major licensor. In many cases, audits reveal potential costs of more than one hundred thousand dollars or pounds for the licensee. That can have a significant impact on the licensee’s cash flow, in addition to tying up working capital unnecessarily in a violations pot.
