An established public broadcaster in the Balkans region was failing under the combined pressure of political interference, miniscule budgets and completely obsolete and rigid staff structures, operating models, infrastructure and technology provision. It needed external help to find a route to sustained operations.
High Green Media worked with an internationally-funded project to advise senior management and government on a new operating model fit for a modern public broadcaster in a democracy joining the EU and NATO. Pragmatic solutions to fix immediate operational and HR issues were identified by working closely with editorial and operational staff to diagnose root-causes of problems and remove roadblocks. A roadmap for effective organisational structure, funding model and technology/infrastructure provision was prepared for government and international funding partners.
